****MISSING ASSIGNMENT NOTICES went home earlier this week. Please help your child find the work listed, sign, & return the notice. At this time of year it's critical because I have to close out the trimester and submit grades.

BC (given Back to the student to Correct & turn in again, )
Ab (Absent on the day it was due, make up as soon as possible after the absence, )
Inc (Incompete & given back to finish,)
Sig (missing a Signature/not corrected at home,) or L (turned in Late)
1. Landform Project (at home project) This project is due on Tuesday (oops!), 11/8. The requirements for the project is in your child's "Organizer" today. Please start planning now so that the project isn't stressful. Projects can not come in early because we have no place to display them. On the date projects are due, they will be displayed on students' desks for all 3rd graders to walk through & admire.
2. Excel Homework #62: Your child had ample time (45 minutes) to finish in class. If your child wasn't able to finish work at school, please have him/her finish math at home. PLEASE correct your child's work at home. If you find incorrect answers, please guide him/her to the correct answer. WHEN the ENTIRE paper is finished and completely correct, please sign both sides and have your child put it in his/her "Organizer" in the Homework section for the return trip to school. After papers are recorded and corrected, I recycle them at school. HINT: If you find any math papers in your child's "Organizer" they have not been turned in. Please empty the "Completed Work" section of your child's "Organizer" EVERY DAY.
3. Study Dancing Rainbows Summary We're spending TWO weeks (last week and this week) on this story, so the comprehension test is THIS Friday, 11/4. Study the summary until THIS Thursday (11/3) and TURN IN TOMORROW, FRIDAY, 11/4, the day of the test.
4. Literature Circle Job due, Weds., 11/9 **BRING JOB AND BOOK: Your child brought home a Literature Circle last week (Homework Section of his/her"Organizer"). Be sure your child brings his/her completed Literature Circle Job and Book on WEDNESDAY at 7:55, since we start Literature Circle about 8:05. Give your child time to practice reading the report, so he/she is ready to read it to his/her group tomorrow.

If it has a "highlighted" star & stamped completed, he/she has received a treat because there were no errors. If problems on the math page are marked wrong/ highlighted, please have your child correct the mistakes and SIGN WHEN ALL PAGES (FRONT AND BACK) ARE CORRECTED. If your child did NOT turn in last week's work, there is a second copy......please have him/her complete it, or find the original copy so that he/she can get credit. Please return the corrected packet tomorrow, ASAP so that your child can get a star and treat.
